Hour of the Witch: Harry Potter, Wicca Witchcraft and the Bible Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I thoroughly enjoyed Hour of the Witch. It is well researched, well documented and well written. Steve Wohlberg has done his homework well. He addresses the issue of how fast Wicca and the Craft are growing in this country and around the world. There is a beautiful side to evil and for Christians this is an eye opener. The Bible condems sorcery and witchcraft and and Harry Potter has just candy coated it. Not all kids who read this book are going to get into the craft, but for those kids who have no compass and are looking for love and power, the Harry Potter books and movies is very aluring. If they go to Harry Potter Web sites it is filled with books about Wicca and witchcraft.
Wohlberg has a winsome way of laying out all the facts without attacking people. It was very helpful to me to find out that 'Wiccans do believe in a god and that they do not believe in Satan, that they believe in a power of good and evil. That they are people seeking truth and they are striving for goodness. I say to all Wiccans out there, keep looking for truth because if you are sincere, you will find it in the person of Jesus Christ who died for you. He is the source of peace and power.
